Baltimore will see cloudy, rainy and windy weather overnight Sunday with a chance of thunderstorms, before mild weather returns Monday to start the work week.
“A line of gusty showers and isolated thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, and perhaps a brief tornado,” the National Weather Service said in a Hazardous Weather Outlook Sunday evening. Storms are expected through 1 a.m. Monday morning.
NWS forecasts a 90% chance of thunderstorms, with an inch of rain or more possible. The overnight low temperature will be around 51.
NWS has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for parts of the area, particularly Anne Arundel County, through 8 a.m. Monday. Special Marine Warnings may be issued, NWS said.
