PENFIELD, N.Y. (WROC) — The previously scheduled Penfield Board of Education Workshop for Tuesday is now set to be a full Board of Education meeting.
The meeting follows tense moments at a Board of Education meeting earlier this month, where parents expressed concerns about student safety. Some conversations allegedly led to racist remarks towards District leaders.
In a letter obtained by News 8, Penfield Central School District Superintendent Dr. Tasha Potter invited families in the school district to attend the BOE meeting, as an opportunity to address calls for direct communication with the Board and administration.
