Two people have been killed after a cargo plane from Dubai skidded off the runway into the sea while landing at Hong Kong International Airport early Monday, Reuters reported, citing the airport operator.

The accident took place at around 3:50 a.m. local time. Airport authorities confirmed that the aircraft was operating under an Emirates flight number. According to Reuters, Emirates has not yet issued a response to requests for comment.

The aircraft’s nose and tail sections appeared detached, and an emergency slide was seen inflated along the fuselage.

All four crew members on board were rescued, the airport said. One ground staff member was also rescued, while another remains missing.
