LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Christ the King Golden Lions (6-0) are the End Zone Team of the Week, after making history, defeating #3 Kingdom Prep Academy 62-38 for the first time in program history!

This is the first time Christ the King football has been in the KCBD studios as the Team of the Week. But they were named Team of the Week back in 2007 before we started bringing teams in, after they opened up district play with a 60-47 win over Wichita Christian.

And making it a full circle moment, Golden Lions head coach Corey Porter was a part of that 2007 then-Trojan team.
