NEW ORLEANS — Hundreds of law enforcement officers were on high alert Sunday for the .
The Baton Rouge native’s performances in other cities have been canceled over security concerns, and New Orleans police say they weren’t taking any chances.
NOPD said it activated more than 400 officers, drones and additional resources for Sunday and Monday’s tour stops.
“Our enforcement presence will include walking beats, mounted, bicycles, tactical units, drones, one of our armored vehicles, our light towers in key areas and high visibility patrols throughout downtown and the French Quarter,” the department said.
The Smoothie King Center also implemented a no-bag policy for the concert.
