SUPERIOR, Wis. – Football and puppies collided at Jimmy’s Saloon in Superior Sunday for a good cause.

The Puppy Bowl was held in the backyard of the venue with a miniature field all marked up like a real football field.

PJ’s Rescue brought the adoptable dogs to the field.

There were food and raffle items – all to raise money for the animal rescue non-profit.

In all $6,000 was raised, including a $3,000 check from the Superior Douglas County Tavern League.

PJ’s rescue is a foster-based animal rescue operating in Duluth.
