JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - Jackson senior offensive lineman Brysen Wessell is getting to live out the dream that many Missouri kids have growing up: playing for the Tigers.

“It was definitely super exciting,” Wessell said on getting his Mizzou offer earlier this fall. “Definitely a school I’ve always grown up watching, and just a lot of nostalgia there, and I could feel it when I went up there for the gameday.”

Originally verbally committed to Iowa State, Wessell recently flipped his decision to play for the Tigers.

And perhaps the biggest benefit of staying in the Show Me State, is that in itself, being closer to friends and family.
