NEW DELHI: Two senior Assam Police officials arrived in Singapore on Monday to investigate the death of singer Zubeen Garg in the island nation last month, an official confirmed. An SIT under the Criminal Investigation Department ( CID ) of Assam Police is probing Garg’s death after more than 60 FIRs were filed across the state. A senior official said CID Special DGP Munna Prasad Gupta and Titabor Co-District SP Tarun Goel flew directly from Guwahati to Singapore. Gupta heads the SIT, while Goel is part of the nine-member team.
