Priyanka Chopra recently went down memory lane, recalling the first piece of “substantial jewellery” she bought with her money. “The first piece of substantial jewellery that I think I bought was a 2-carat diamond very early. It was from the signing amount of one of my first films. My mother said, ‘This was me becoming a woman’, buying my own jewellery myself, my own diamonds myself,” Chopra told The Hollywood Reporter India .
