Indiana University-Bloomington shut down the print edition of the Indiana Daily Student after 158 years of operation. Many alumni condemned the move online, claiming it amounts to censorship .

The IDS editorial board shouldn't let that stop it. While the board considers legal options, it should move operations underground.

Indiana University is a poor steward of student media

At first, I thought claims the university was censoring the IDS were a bit overblown, as the newspaper was recently given a $1 million bailout and receives all sorts of other benefits from its position as a university auxiliary.
