Absentee ballots have been shipped out and election day is just a few weeks away.

While voters in Lansing and East Lansing will be casting ballots in races for city council, and in Lansing's case, the mayor's race and a proposed charter revision, many other voters across Greater Lansing have school proposals on the ballot, including a $66 million tax plan in Mason.

Bond proposals

Three local districts have new tax proposals on the ballot.

Mason Public Schools is asking voters if they’ll support a $66.15 million proposal, which, if approved, would bring updates to the middle school, the high school auditorium and the district's transportation facility.
