A fly-tipper who dumped black bags of rubbish in a road has been fined more than £1,000. South Gloucestershire Council prosecuted Sajida Wadee for ditching the waste in Mangotsfield.
The 33-year-old appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court and pleaded guilty to fly-tipping. She was fined £307, ordered to pay costs of £636 and a victim surcharge of £123, making a total of £1,066.
The court heard that a fly-tip consisting of multiple black bin bags was discovered on Carsons Road, Mangotsfield on April 14 this year. The bags contained broken up fence panels along with delivery packaging addressed to Sajida Wadee.
