MONTGOMERY COUNTY - A multi-vehicle crash has shut eastbound lanes of the Thruway past Amsterdam, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

Emergency crews were on the scene of the crash near mile post 170, between the Amsterdam and Schenectady exits, sheriff's officials said just after 7 a.m.
