New Delhi: A global outage has hit the Amazon Web Service on Monday has put on hold quite a few websites and services which including Snapchat, Amazon Prime, Perpexity, Fortnite, Canva and even Duolingo. Messages on the maintenance site for the AWS confirmed a climb in “error rates” for quite a few services and said their engineers were working to quickly restore functioning.
Amazon are in the process of full recovery, with their own ecosystem not being spared, including with things like Amazon.com, Prime Video and even Alexa having connectivity issues. Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas has confirmed that the disruptions were due to the AWS-related issue, which affected the company’s operations at present.
