Ewan McGregor is set to receive an outstanding contribution award from Bafta Scotland next month in honour of his "exceptional body of work".
The Star Wars and Trainspotting actor will be bestowed with the accolade at the Bafta Scotland awards ceremony on Sunday, November 16.
McGregor first made a name for himself in the 1990s with films such as Brassed Off, Shallow Grave and Trainspotting, which premiered in 1996.
He has since taken on the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, reprising the role for the Disney+ original series Obi-Wan Kenobi in 2022, as well as featuring in films like Moulin Rouge! in 2001 and T2: Trainspotting in 2017.
