A Coventry Pizza Hut is facing closure after the dine-in part of the business collapsed into administration today (October 20). Hundreds of jobs are likely to be affected.

In 2024, 139 Pizza Hut locations and 3,000 jobs were saved when the major chain was acquired by Directional Capital. But 68 dine-in restaurants and 741 jobs are now at risk of being shut for good, including the Gielgud Way eatery in Walsgrave .

Pizza Hut is owned by Yum! Brands, and DC London Pie was created by Directional Capital to run Pizza Hut restaurants in the UK. Administrators from FTI Consulting were appointed today (October 20). Takeaway locations are reportedly unaffected.
