The UK high street has been dealt another devastating blow. A major pizza chain that is a favourite with families has fallen into administration. ‌

Pizza Hut's owner DC London Pie Limited has appointed administrators FTI Consulting, with the move coming just one year after the beloved food chain was saved in a rescue deal. ‌

The BusinessDesk.com has revealed that Pizza Hut UK confirmed in a statement that it had now acquired the Pizza Hut dine-in operations through a pre-packaged administration. ‌

In 2024, Directional Capital, which operates franchises in Denmark and Sweden, swooped in to save the failing business in a move that bought 139 of firm's restaurants, safeguarding around 3,000 jobs across the UK.
