Superintendent David Loutzenheiser outlined his goals for the 2025-26 school year, focusing on academic growth, employee satisfaction, community connections and strong financial practices.

Loutzenheiser said the goals align with the district’s 2022-27 strategic plan and are structured around four areas: teaching and learning, personnel, community relations, and finance and operations.

The district aims for a 2% increase in standardized test scores and continued growth of professional learning communities, or PLCs, where teachers collaborate to improve instruction.

“It has been a really focus of Higley that we allow our teachers opportunities to work together to support students collaboratively,” he said.
