A man was shot and rushed to the hospital in critical condition in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood on Monday, authorities said.

Miami police said they were investigating a call about a man shot in the area of Northwest 15th Avenue and 61st Street.

Miami Fire Rescue confirmed that one person was found suffering from "several gunshot wounds." They were listed in critical condition.

Video of the scene shows what appears to be a large pool of blood in the roadway, as police cars are parked nearby.
