The team at a Linlithgow opticians have their sights set on keeping children safe around the town’s busy road network this winter by offering free hi-vis vests to young people.
Specsavers Linlithgow has set up a ‘hi-vis vest hub’ at the locally owned and run store at the Regent Centre on Blackness Road for families and community groups to collect at their leisure, in a bid to keep kids safe and seen when they are out and about during the darker nights.
The vests are being distributed on a first come, first serve basis ahead of Road Safety Week in Scotland, which runs from 17-23 November 2025.
