COLUMBUS, Ohio. (WSAZ) - Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed two bills into law today.

House Bill 144 was signed into law “to expand the communication disability database to include any person with a disability, to expand access to that database through countywide 911 systems...,” DeWine’s office said.

The bill will also be known as “Keith’s Law,” and is sponsored by State Representative Gary Click (R-Vickery) and State Representative Brian Lorenz (R-Powell).

Governor DeWine also signed House Bill 57 into law, which limits student attendance in released time courses in religious instruction and deals with school polices on the administration of overdose reversal drugs.
