Oneohtrix Point Never , the project of producer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Daniel Lopatin , has announced a new album, Tranquilizer , out on November 17th via Warp Records. He’s also revealed three new songs: “For Residue,” “Bumpy,” and “Lifeworld.”

For his 11th album, Lopatin took inspiration from discovering that a large slate of ’90s-era sample CDs had disappeared from the Internet Archive; he took it upon himself to salvage, recreate, and re-contextualize these sounds, commenting on the past and the future at once.
