Users have been jumping to Down Detector to report the popular peer-to-peer payment platform Venmo is down. It's one of hundreds of outages acorss internet services after Amazon Web Services went down earlier today, taking out half the internet with it.
DownDetector reports about Venmo started ramping up around 9 a.m. ET, jumping from a few hundred to over 8,000 in just a few hours.
