A Long Island teenager was fatally shot inside a Suffolk County home over the weekend, and his suspected killer has been arrested, police said Sunday.
Bryan Ventura-Ramirez, 20, has been charged with second-degree manslaughter in the death of Robin Moscoso-Hernandez , 17, inside a North Amityville residence, Suffolk County Police said in a press release.
Ventura-Ramirez lived in the North Amityville home where the shooting occurred, about 30 miles east of Central Park, cops said. Moscoso-Hernandez, a Bethpage resident, was described by police as an acquaintance of the suspect.
Officers responded to the scene just before 9 p.m. on Saturday night, according to police. They found Moscoso-Hernandez suffering from a single gunshot wound to his chest .
