COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A fierce advocate for women’s rights, a devoted mother, and a proud BTS fan, these are just a few of the ways Andy Anderson describes his wife, Erica.

This weekend, News Leader spoke with Andy off-camera about the woman he calls “a bright light” in his life. While he chose not to appear on screen, viewers will see intimate moments of Erica with her family, snapshots of a life filled with love, laughter, and purpose.

“She had so much left to give this world. We’re incredibly heartbroken that she was taken so early,” said Andy Anderson.

Just days after her tragic death, Andy opened up about the loss of his wife, 41-year-old Erica Anderson, a theatre lecturer at Columbus State University.
