YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Reports said a woman had to be taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center on Sunday after she hit her head on something after being woken up when a pumpkin was thrown through her window.

Officers were called about 4:25 a.m. to a home on Marmion Avenue, where a man told police he was sleeping with the victim when they were awakened by a pumpkin being tossed through the front window of the home.

The woman got out of bed and began running before hitting her head on something, reports said. Reports said when police arrived, she was sitting on the floor bleeding from her head.

Police found a broken window in the house with a pumpkin inside and a broken window on a car in the driveway, reports said.
