DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- Two woman accused of beating children in the classroom of a daycare have pleaded guilty.
Public court records show Kailey Gilley pleaded guilty to 10 counts of child abuse and Magan Koker pleaded guilty to 12 counts of child abuse.
Both women were arrested in September 2024. They were initially charged with aggravated child abuse and child abuse-torture. The charges were downgraded in the blind plea agreement. A blind plea is when a defendent pleads guilty without a pre-arranged sentencing at the time of the plea.
According to Daleville Police, Koker and Gilley were accused of abusing children at Happy Hearts Christian Academy Daycare.
