When it comes to the top goal scorers in WPIAL boys soccer this year, it’s a case of “Oh, brother.”

Ryan Moessner and Adam Moessner, brothers on the Bentworth Bearcats team, finished 1-2 in scoring. Ryan Moessner, a senior, finished first with 47 goals — one year after finishing second with 36. His younger brother, Adam, finished second this year with 42 after tying for ninth last season with 24.

The Moessners are the only two players to score more than 40 goals in the regular season.
