CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - A person is now in custody after police were on the scene of a barricaded subject in Carbondale.

According to the city of Carbondale on Monday afternoon, October 20, there is a large police presence in the 500 block of E. Jackson.

Just before 1:30 p.m., they said the person is in custody and the area is clear to the public.
