The Portland Trail Blazers finalized their roster two days before the beginning of the regular season, signing guard Javonte Cooke to a two-way contract.
The move, widely expected after the team waived Cooke last week, was officially announced Monday by general Joe Cronin .
The Blazers signed Cooke to an Exhibit 10 contract in September and he played in three of the team’s four exhibition games during the preseason, averaging 3.3 points and 1.7 rebounds. His best outing came in the exhibition opener, when he finished with nine points and three rebounds in nine minutes at the Golden State Warriors.
The 6-foot-6 guard has played in 88 games, including 55 starts, in the G League over the last three seasons, averaging 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists for the Oklahoma City
