CLEVELAND — One week after he announced a $100 million settlement with the Haslam Sports Group that will pave the way for the Browns to play in a new domed stadium in Brook Park, Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb heard from councilmembers about the deal during a special hearing on Monday.

"We are not making a vote today," said Cleveland City Council President Blaine Griffin as the hearing began. "This is really for us to do our due diligence to start the public engagement process to really understand if this is a good deal for Cleveland and why is this a good deal for the city of Cleveland."
