Days after arresting two people in Niagara Falls for allegedly trafficking a minor in the sex trade, police have made another arrest.
In August, the Niagara Regional Police human trafficking unit began an investigation involving a female younger than 18. Police said the alleged trafficking took place in both the Greater Toronto Area and in Niagara.
On Oct. 15, police arrested two suspects.
Christopher St. Louis, 43, of Niagara Falls was charged with procuring a person under age 18.
He had already been arrested on a charge of indignity to a body in relation to the discovery of a deceased 22-year-old woman in a Niagara Falls parking lot Oct. 14. Homicide detectives are investigating that case.
Police said that investigation and the human trafficking investigation are not related.
