The S&P 500 rose 1% Monday and got back within 0.4% of its all-time high set earlier this month. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 440 points, and the Nasdaq composite gained 1.4%. Bank stocks rose after a couple raised alarm bells last week by warning about potentially bad loans they’ve made. Several big-name companies will be delivering their latest results this week, including Coca-Cola, Tesla and Procter & Gamble. Stock indexes also climbed across much of Europe and Asia.
