A judge on Monday ruled that the Virginia woman accused of killing former Netflix star Sara Burack in a June Hamptons hit-and-run remain jailed on $100,000 cash bond after a grand jury indictment.
Amanda Kempton, 32, of Fairfax, Virginia, was indicted on one Class-D Felony count of leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office announced Monday. She was arraigned before State Supreme Court Justice John Collins, who ordered her held on $100,000 cash, $200,000 bond or $1,000,000 partially secured bond while the case was pending.
