NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – With the winter season arriving, New York City’s ferry routes will soon have new schedules.

Winter schedules go into effect on Monday, Nov. 3, NYC Ferry announced Monday. On Nov. 27 and Nov. 28, ferries will have modified schedules for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Key changes include significantly reduced weekend service on the East River and South Brooklyn routes. Weekday afternoons service will be reduced as well as weekend service on the Astoria route.

Other routes, like Soundview and St. George, will see slight changes in arrival and departure times.
