SALT LAKE CITY — Work from a Utah artist is being displayed on a national stage ahead of the upcoming NBA season.

Trent Call from Salt Lake City designed a basketball for the Utah Jazz to be on display in front of 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City. One basketball for every NBA team was selected to be shown as part of “30 Rocks at 30 Rock.”

NBC Affiliate Marketing Coordinator Julia Colendenski said the works of art are in the form of giant basketballs on top of 8-foot podiums.

“These 30 custom curated ‘rocks,’ or rock art installations, were displayed right in front, just to connect each NBA team with their artists,” Colendenski said.
