RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — The Richland County Coroner's Office has released the name of a 71-year-old man killed in a crash that followed two back-to-back carjackings committed by another driver in Richland County on Saturday.

Authorities said Joseph J. Feda of Irmo died at the scene after being struck by the suspect, 44-year-old Zee Zee Zelazurro, who had just carjacked two vehicles, hitting Feda's truck not long before returning to the scene and ultimately killing him in a second wreck.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department reported that, around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Zelazurro first carjacked a Mazda 6 near the roundabout at Piney Woods and Piney Grove roads and forced the driver to take him toward Broad River Road.
