MILLPORT, N.Y. (WETM) — A Millport woman was arrested in October after deputies said she had violated a protection order.

Jodi L. Kent, 53, was arrested on Friday, Oct. 17, on the charge of criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, according to infromation from the Chemung County Sheriff's Office.

Kent's arrest comes after deputies said she violated an order of protection on a person in Millport. Kent was processed in the Veteran Town Court before she was taken to the Chemung County Jail, where she posted bail.

The following day, Oct. 18, Kent was arrested again on the charge of criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor, deputies said.

Kent's arrest on Saturday was once again for violating an order of protection on a person in Millport, deputies said.
