LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. – State police said they are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in Lonoke County.

Arkansas State Police officials said the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office contacted ASP to assist in an investigation after a man was found dead in a ditch along Highway 256. State police added that the scene was one mile south of Mulberry Cemetery.

Authorities have identified the man as 28-year-old Nathan Hall of Benton.

ASP officials said Hall’s body will be taken to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory, where a manner and cause of death will be determined.
