On Monday at 12:06 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a freeze warning valid for Tuesday between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley.

The weather service comments, “Sub-freezing temperatures of 28 to 32 degrees expected in portions of the lower Snake Plain.”

“Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” says the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
