The new Captain America series is about to have massive implications for the Marvel Universe, says author Chip Zdarsky. The writer teased that his series’ next arc will take place in the aftermath of Marvel’s current One World Under Doom crossover , and by the end of it, nothing will be the same.

Speaking with AIPT to promote the release of Captain America #4, Zdarsky spoke at length about the series so far, but he also hinted at what’s in store.

According to the author, by early next year, “ the future of the Marvel Universe ” will hinge on what happens in his Captain America book.
