University of North Carolina football coach Bill Belchick had the right to end his participation in a documentary series about the Tar Heels' program at any time, according to the university's contract with EverWonder Studio , which was obtained by WRAL through a public records request.

Belichick, who won six Super Bowls as head coach of the NFL’s New England Patriots, is in his first season as head coach at UNC. His hiring has generated interest from far beyond the world of sports, including from production companies hoping to document his journey.

The document provides a glimpse into how Belichick’s own media production company intersects with the interests of UNC.
