BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - While some of us managed to find measurable rainfall this past weekend, the rain gauge at the airport remained dry. This allows for our dry streak to continue as we push into the back half of October. However, we look to have another shot at rain and storms as we head for the weekend.
THE SETUP
After a few days of push and pull of fronts across southeast Texas, a bigger and more consequential system is set to roll through the lower 48 this week. A trough of low pressure currently situated over the Pacific Ocean will move across the southwestern U.S. and eventually into Texas between Thursday and Saturday.
Looking for another pattern change by the end of the week as a trough of low pressure moves across the U.S..
