WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A man convicted of killing a Wichita woman whose body was found after she was reported missing, faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison.

In Sedgwick County District Court on Monday, a judge sentenced Kyle Bearden to life in prison without the possibility of parole for 25 years in the July murder of 31-year-old Mariana Chrisitan. Bearden faces an additional 181 months (15 years, one month) on charges that include kidnapping and robbery.

In August, Bearden pleaded guilty in the case . Christian, last seen on July 19, was reported missing on July 21. Her body was found in a southeast Wichita park on July 25.
