PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – An appeals court ruled Monday that the Trump Administration can deploy the National Guard to Portland, and Oregon leaders are voicing their displeasure.
Attorney General Dan Rayfield led the request for the original temporary restraining order against bringing troops to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in South Portland. In a statement, he said this ruling is not justified.

Rayfield and other state leaders, including Gov. Tina Kotek and Rep. Maxine Dexter, have been active voices against the federalization of Oregon state troops.
