WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A couple was arrested over the weekend after police learned three children were not properly restrained inside a car involved in a DWI collision, arrest warrants obtained by KWTX allege.

Mystikal Palacios was charged with driving while intoxicated and endangering a child, according to an arrest warrant.

Palacios’ boyfriend, Noe Campos, was arrested for walking away from the scene of the wreck without calling 911 or rendering aid, police said. Camps was charged with abandoning and endangering a child, according to his arrest warrant.

The single-vehicle collision happened Oct. 18 at about 9:20 p.m. at N. 18th Street and Austin Avenue, police said.
