MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis police have arrested two men on attempted murder charges after a shooting in the Frayser area.

Nathan Garita, 21, and Stephen Brown, 18, are each charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

According to their arrest affidavits, Brown and Garita are accused of firing shots at two women during a fight at a home address along Benjestown Road on Friday, October 17.

One of those women was shot in the knee.

MPD arrested both suspects and seized their weapons at the scene. Police say that both Garita and Brown admitted to shooting at the victims multiple times.
