CAMDEN, Ark. - Arkansas State Police are currently investigating a homicide in Camden.

ASP officials said 22-year-old Kimaria Wilson had been found at an apartment in the city on Sunday at 5:45 p.m. with what they called an apparent gunshot wound. She was discovered by Camden police officers responding to a shooting call.

Life-saving efforts were made, officials said, but Wilson was pronounced dead at 8:30 p.m.

ASP was called by the Camden Police Department for assistance Sunday evening.

Wilson’s body is being taken to the Arkansas State Crime lab, officials said, to accurately determine her manner and cause of death.
