SHERIDAN, Ark. — The Grant County Quorum Court met Monday night to discuss a resolution signaling the county’s preliminary intent to negotiate a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes (PILOT) agreement with Sheridan Data Center LLC, a company operating under Clean Cloud Energy, for a proposed data and solar center in Grant County.

Grant County Judge Randy Pruitt said the resolution does not authorize construction or finalize any agreement but allows officials to continue learning about the proposal before making a decision.
