CLARKE COUNTY, Virginia — More than a year after a woman died, her husband was indicted on second-degree murder charges in Clarke County.
According to the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, 42-year-old Jeremiah Joseph Frazier is accused of assaulting his wife, 41-year-old Glenda Goad, causing significant injuries that led to her death.
Emergency medical services took Goad to Winchester Hospital after reports of a possible stroke on April 30, 2024. She later died from her injuries.
Investigators say they discovered evidence that Frazier physically assaulted Goad and then failed to provide adequate care for her, leading to her death.
A jury indicted Frazier on Monday with several charges, including involuntary manslaughter, abuse and neglect of a vulnerable adult, aggravated malicious wound
